Work Parties
Details of Work Parties
On the conservation and restoration projects there are plenty of opportunities on offer. Anyone with experience of construction or conservation would be ideal but this is not by any means essential and any offers of help will be warmly welcomed. - Call Ian below or just turn up at the venue publicised on here.
If you want to do something positive to help the restoration, then join our regular Work Parties!
Generally SCRS often organises work parties to do practical work on and around the Canal.
Our work party organiser is Ian Hornby. You can contact him on 07753 289765 or email ih001r8610@blueyonder.co.uk for further information.
All volunteers are assured of a warm friendly welcome.
You don't have to come for all day, just come for a couple of hours and try it!
